Moncey Avocats strengthens its range of services with the internal promotion of Camille Cournot as partner

Moncey Avocats is pleased to announce the cooptation of Camille Cournot as a partner in the employment law department, which she has developed since joining the firm. This appointment will be effective from 1 January 2025.

 

Camille Cournot joined Moncey Avocats in January 2024 as Counsel to head the employment law practice. In the space of a year, she has demonstrated her expertise and her ability to develop this practice. The team includes two associates, Anne-Sophie Laird and Elodie Robert.

 

Camille Cournot advises several client, including investment funds, French and international groups and growth companies in a variety of sectors, in particular metallurgy, new technologies, construction and public works, insurance and brokerage.

 

The team works closely with the corporate, tax and finance teams on transactions; advises clients on all their employment law issues (individual and collective relations); and handles internal investigations and pre-litigation and litigation management in employment law, an area in which it combines its skills with those of the litigation team.

Over the past year, the employment law team led by Camille Cournot has also developed close synergies with the restructuring team in the context of internal group reorganisations, including within companies undergoing conciliation and insolvency proceedings, thus providing the firm with its expertise in consulting employee representative bodies, employee transfers and downsizing.
