Counsel to the management of Catlante Catamarans in the entry of Montefiore Investment and Bpifrance into the capital

Moncey Avocats advised Catlante Catamarans' management team, Hervé Bellaïche - who is taking over as CEO - and Fred Talvard - co-founder -, on the acquisition of a stake in the company by Montefiore Investment and Bpifrance.

The deal also marks the departure of co-founder Jean-Pascal Siméon, who is handing over to Hervé Bellaïche, who is also former Deputy Managing Director of Ponant.

Montefiore Investment is acquiring a stake via the Fonds Nov Toursime Relance Durable, and Bpifrance via its France Investissement Tourisme 3 (FIT 3) fund.

This transaction will enable Catlante Catamarans to further accelerate its growth trajectory, in line with the work carried out by the team led by the co-founders, in particular by increasing the size of its fleet and its development in France, but also by giving new impetus to its expansion, with a real focus on environmental and societal issues.
