Counsel to Siparex in its primary LBO on Orion Group
12.may.2022

Moncey Avocats has advised the French independent private equity specialist Siparex ETI in its entry in the capital of Orion Group as a minority shareholder.
Founded in 2009, Orion Group is one of the leading French asset management companies with a hybrid model based on two business lines: a multi-service platform ("La Financière d'Orion") for asset management advisors and agents, and a proprietary asset management consulting business.
The multi-service platform makes it possible to offer distributors a range of savings products (life insurance, securities accounts, PER, structured products, provident funds) and a wide range of services (regulatory monitoring, asset allocation, communication, training, back office).
Orion Group has also announced the acquisition of BLC and Nexus, which will strengthen the multi-regional proximity model of its own wealth management offer.
The ambition is to accelerate the group's growth through the continued expansion of its network and territorial coverage, in particular through the development of its platform serving distributors and through an active external growth policy with already identified targets.
Siparex was advised by a team from Moncey Avocats composed of:
- Guillaume Giuliani and Marie-Victoire James, partners, Alexandre Bankowski and Alix Auclair, associates, in corporate
- David Malamed, partner, Jonathan Devillard and David Maréchal, associates, in financing
