Counsel to Hivest Capital Partners in the acquisition of a majority stake in Marie-Laure PLV

Moncey Avocats advised Hivest Capital Partners, an independent European private equity firm, on the acquisition of a majority stake in Marie-Laure PLV, a French company specializing in point-of-sale merchandising and store design.

Marie-Laure Traux-Binsse, founder of Marie-Laure PLV, will remain involved in the company's development as Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

Marie-Laure PLV, which employs some 500 people, is a market leader in premium point-of-sale merchandising for the cosmetics industry.

With this transaction, Hivest, Marie-Laure Traux-Binsse and the management team are pursuing their objective of consolidating Marie-Laure PLV's presence in its historic markets and expanding internationally, across the entire value chain. This transaction also enables the company's key executives, led by Pierre Marand, Chairman of the Group, to acquire a stake in the company.
